About this site

PURVIRA gathers in one place what usually takes a dozen websites: news, documents, jobs, housing, addresses of government offices and clinics, exchange rates, weather, public holidays and television. No sign-up, no ads, in three languages.

What you will find here

  • News — feeds from Polish, Ukrainian and international publishers, split by topic, each card carrying the publisher's name.
  • Documents — step-by-step guides to PESEL UKR, CUKR and the residence card, plus a map of government offices with addresses and opening hours.
  • Jobs — vacancies in eight Polish cities with salary, industry and flags for employer housing and entry-level roles.
  • Housing — long-term and nightly rentals with filters for district, rooms and price.
  • Healthcare — clinics and hospitals on a map, what the NFZ covers and where to go under temporary protection.
  • Transport, education and employment — guides to rights, paperwork and the order of steps.
  • Exchange rates with a converter, weather, public holidays of both countries, live television and weekend trips.

Where the data comes from

  • News — direct feeds from publishers in Poland, Ukraine and worldwide. Every card shows the publisher, and the link leads to the original article.
  • Jobs come from OLX, or praca.pl when OLX is unavailable; housing from OLX, Otodom and rieltor.ua. The list always says where a listing comes from. Terms, price and contacts appear exactly as the employer or owner submitted them.
  • Addresses of government offices and medical facilities — OpenStreetMap (ODbL licence); the map uses OpenStreetMap tiles.
  • Exchange rates — the National Bank of Ukraine, with the National Bank of Poland as a fallback. Fuel prices and holidays come from open data and trade publications.
  • Document guides follow gov.pl and the text of Polish law; each guide carries the date we last checked it against the source.
  • City photographs on the start screen — Wikimedia Commons, with author and licence credited under each image.

Who prepares the guides

  • Guides on documents, jobs and housing are written and maintained by the PURVIRA editorial team. Every statement is checked against an official source — gov.pl, udsc.gov.pl, voivodeship offices and the text of the law — and links to those sources are listed at the end of each guide.
  • Under each guide's title you can see when the editors last checked the sources. If a procedure changed before we updated the text, what gov.pl says takes precedence.
  • You can report a mistake or an outdated point with the Contact button at the bottom of the page — we fix the text and update the review date.

How often it updates

  • News, weather and home-page jobs — every 30 minutes, exchange rates — hourly; every section shows when its data last arrived and where from.
  • Jobs and housing are fetched at the moment you ask, so they show current results.
  • The clinic directory refreshes weekly and the office directory monthly — they rarely change.
  • If a source fails to answer, the site says so plainly instead of quietly serving stale data.

What this site does not do

  • PURVIRA does not write the news. We do not rewrite other people's reporting or put our own headlines on it — the card takes you to the publisher.
  • PURVIRA does not replace government offices. Our guides explain procedures in plain words, but applications follow official rules, and those rules are what count legally.
  • We give no legal advice and handle no cases. Where a question is complex, the guide names the institution to approach.
  • We charge nothing for listing a job or an advert, and we do not sell placement in the feed.

What the site knows about you

  • There are no cookies — neither ours nor anyone else's.
  • There are no visit counters and no advertising trackers.
  • Browser storage holds only settings: language, chosen city, housing filters and the country in the Travel section. None of it is sent to the server.
  • The server logs suspicious requests (intrusion attempts): address, path and browser type. Ordinary visits are not recorded.
  • If you write through the contact form, we see the text, the contact you left, your browser type and a short hash of your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address. Details are in the privacy policy.

Languages

  • The site works in Ukrainian, Polish and English. The switch sits at the top of the page, and the address changes with it: /uk, /pl, /en.
  • The news differs by language: the Ukrainian edition reads Ukrainian and Polish press, the Polish one reads Polish press, the English one reads English-language media. These are three different sets of publishers, not one feed translated.
  • Document guides are translated in full, because the procedure is the same for everyone.

Contact

  • The «Contact» button at the bottom of any page is the fastest route: an error in the data, a suggestion, a complaint about a listing.
  • There is also a Telegram bot with the same news, rates and jobs — the link is at the bottom of the page.
  • If you spot an inaccuracy, please write: most errors arrive from outside sources, and we correct them.
