Editorial policy
PURVIRA has two distinct parts: our own guides, for which the editors are responsible, and aggregated data — news, jobs, listings, rates — shown from other sources. Different rules apply to each.
Our own guides
- Every statement in a guide is backed by an official source: gov.pl, udsc.gov.pl, voivodeship office sites, ZUS, NFZ and the text of the law. Links to those sources are at the end of each guide.
- Below the title there are two dates: when the text was updated and when the editors last checked it against the sources.
- The gov.pl pages our section guides are built on are checked automatically several times a day: if a page disappears or changes, the editors get a signal and review the text.
- We write plainly but don't oversimplify: if a rule has exceptions, we say so.
News
We don't write or rewrite news. The feed consists of headlines from publishers' RSS in Poland, Ukraine and worldwide, with the publisher named on every card and a link to the original story.
Publishers are chosen on two criteria: a newsroom with known ownership that regularly covers Poland or Ukraine. The list is on the Data sources page.
Jobs and housing
Listings are posted by employers and owners on OLX, praca.pl, Otodom, rieltor.ua and e-turysta. We don't edit or verify them — they are shown as published, with a link to the original. We take no money for placement or ranking.
Independence
- PURVIRA is a private project with no ties to Polish or Ukrainian government bodies.
- There are no ads, sponsored content or paid mentions on the portal.
- We don't provide legal services or handle cases. A guide explains the general rule; in your case the final word belongs to the office.
Corrections
Spotted a mistake? Write via the contact page. A corrected guide gets a new update date. If the mistake concerned the substance of a procedure (deadline, document, fee), the text says so.
