In short: no cookies, no analytics, no ads. We don't know who you are and don't try to find out. Below is the full list of what is stored after all, and where.

Cookies and trackers

The portal sets no cookies at all — neither its own nor third-party. There is no Google Analytics, no social media pixels, no ad networks and no other visit counters. That's why there is no cookie banner: there's nothing to consent to.

What stays in your browser

A few settings are kept in your browser's storage (localStorage) so you don't have to pick them every time. They are never sent to the server; clearing the site's data in your browser removes them:

  • the page language you chose;
  • your city (weather, jobs, events, NFZ facilities);
  • housing search filters;
  • the country chosen in the Travel section.

What the server records

  • A log of suspicious requests — only those that look like break-in attempts (probing for admin panels, system files, vulnerabilities). An entry holds the IP address, requested path, browser type and time. Ordinary visits are not logged. The log keeps the last 500 events; older ones are dropped automatically.
  • Messages from the contact form: the text, your contact if you left one, page language, browser type and a short hash of the IP address (8 characters) — enough to notice that several messages came from the same person, but not to recover the address. The last 300 messages are kept.

Who else sees your request

  • Cloudflare — the site reaches you through it (attack protection, encryption). It technically processes the IP address of every request under its own privacy policy.
  • Maps load tiles from OpenStreetMap, news photos come from publishers' sites. Those servers see your IP address just as they would if you visited them directly.
  • When you follow a link to a news story, job or listing, you go to the source's site, and its rules apply there.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see or delete a message you sent through the form. Write via the contact page and give the approximate time and text of the message — otherwise we can't find it, as we don't know who sent it.

You can lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).
